Jeroen Gunning (King’s College London) and Dima Smaira (the American University Beirut) will subsequently compare insights from Jordan with experiences from Lebanon, Palestine, and Egypt. There will be an additional presentation (online) by Younes Saramifar (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), who will talk about experiences from Iran.
